What is a TCB?: A Telecommunication Certification Body is an organization with the authority to issue Certifications for compliance with Federal Communications Commission regulations.
Our Purpose: The purpose of the TCB Council is to provide a forum for periodic dialogue between the FCC and the TCB's and to facilitate on-going activities geared toward the improvement of TCB technical and administrative performance.

The Telecommunications Certification Body Council (TCBC) is pleased to host our October 2008 Workshop on Tuesday, October 7th through Thursday, October 9th, 2008 located at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore (Maryland) on the Inner Harbor. We expect great participation from the FCC as this is located in their 'back yard'. Our topics will include: FCC Updates and Roundtable discussions; Australian C-tick and A-Tick Legal requirements; detailed training by Japan MIC; Future RF Needs for AIMD; New Technology update from industry; and more.... There will be a TCB Council meeting the morning of Thursday, October 9, 2008.

There is also a separate training event on Friday October 10, 2008 on Hearing Aid Compatibility issues sponsored by ANSI C63.19. Please contact me if you need a copy of the invitation to this separate training (at additional cost).
