The digital doors are opening soon for your registration in the TCB Council’s Basic Training on-demand. The Basic Training will launch side-by-side with the April Workshop. We will no longer offer a face-to-face component.

Our new Basic Training is modular, self-guided and presented in a pleasing audio-visual format.

As always, this training prepares personnel for work in the US Wireless Regulatory Context. In addition to establishing a regulatory framework and specific standards, 8 hours of modules cover access to key FCC resources, RF Exposure measurement and testing, as well as EMC testing requirements. Trainees will walk through the expectations and mechanics of TCB application review. Modules will compare FCC procedures to Canada ISED and the European Union's RED guidelines. Trainees will also gain exposure to emerging technologies in the field and consider how this creates future opportunities and challenges.

This online training is recommended for all new TCB reviewers and as a refresher for existing reviewers.  The digital library of useful links and materials is an enduring resource. Knowledge checks will help trainees to explore topics with deeper thinking.

In addition to the online self-guided training, regular Zoom sessions will be convened to answer questions and promote discussion. Each trainee can participate in one real-time expert session to further their exploration in our field.

This course is designed for individuals in design, development, manufacturing, and regulatory positions working with devices and other wireless products.

This course must be accessed on desktop, laptop or mobile device with audio, video, and document viewing capability.
